The Westfalian bred and licensed Dynamic Dream became the most popular dressage breeding stallion amongst Oldenburg breeders in 2021 with the most foals registered Oldenburg in 2022.

Horses.nl reported that the Oldenburg Verband published the top 10 of most used stallions in their magazine.

Dynamic Dream

Helgstrand's bay Dynamic Dream (by Dream Boy x Sir Donnerhall) is the number one with 179 foals born in 2022 registered Oldenburg.

Dynamic Dream's path as a breeding stallion is an interesting one. Bred in The Netherlands by C. van der Laan, he became the champion of the 2019 Westfalian Stallion Licensing, where he was presented by owners  Heinrich and Jan-Dirk Giesselmann. He sold at auction for 1.9 million euro to Helgstrand although the word on the street is that this is a fake price as he sold before the auction.

Dynamic Dream was stripped from the title and his licensed status when it turned out the stallion tested positive to medication. The stallion was positive to Flunixin, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) and painkiller, which Giesselmann claimed to have used for a skin problem.

In March 2020, Dynamic Dream became a premium stallion at the Danish warmblood licensing and passed his 14-day observation test in Torring with 8.63 for dressage and 6.48 for jumping.  In April 2020, Dynamic Dream was re-accepted by the Westfalian licensing committee after a negative medication test. The Oldenburg society also approved him a few days later.

In January 2021, Helgstrand dressage communicated that Dynamic Dream might never return to sport and will be unable to fulfil his mandatory sport testings to retain his licensed status because of a neck injury. Danish warmblood gave him a waiver and allowed him to breed in 2021. For the German studbooks, Dynamic Dream has not done the required follow-up sport tests. Nevertheless he was the most popular breeding stallion in Oldenburg, especially after he produced a fine crop of foals in 2021.

Vitalis

Paul Schockemöhle is a driving force behind the Oldenburg society and with his station at the heart of the Oldenburg area, he is the deliveroo of semen in the area. His and Lone Boegh Henriksen's KWPN bred and originally Westfalian licensed Vitalis (by Vivaldi x D-Day) is the number two of 2022 in Oldenburg. He has 148 foals registered in 2022.

Schockemöhle's Total Diamond PS (Totilas x Sir Donnerhall) follows in third place, but with a significantly lower number of foals: 95.
