Kebie van der Heijden's internationally competed small tour horse Hashtag has been sold to the U.S.A. The 11-year old black Dutch warmblood will continue his sport career with Emma Asher.

Hashtag is a KWPN bred by Cachet L out of Wabiola (by Montecristo x Metall). He bred by A. Van der Goor and originally named Hashdeck.

Licensed

The black was accepted at the 2015 KWPN Stallion Licensing in 's Hertogenbosch and sold in the KWPN Select Sale for €48,000 to Dutch entrepreneur Jan Pieter Dalsem.

Hashtag never achieved full licensed status as he began the 2015 spring testing but did not finish it.

The black was put in training with Femke de Laat.  The pair finished 11th in the 2018 Pavo Cup Finals and participated in the team selection process for the 2019 World Young Horse Championships but wasn't picked.

De Laat produced and competed the horse to ZZ-Zwaar level (M) until 2020.

In 2022 Hashtag resurfaced under a new rider: Dutch Grand Prix rider and horse dealer Kebie van der Heijden.

They first competed at national small tour level and made their CDI debut in April 2022 in Kronenberg. They also competed at the CDI's in Exloo and Waregem that year. In seven out of eight tests there were placed in the top five, once cracking the 70% marker in an Inter I freestyle.

U.S.A.

In the autumn of 2022, owner Jan Pieter Dalsem sold Hashtag to the American company Seeley Equestrian Ventures, owned by Jeffrey Asher. His daughter Emma is a dressage rider.

Emma Asher has been competing Nars Gottmer's former Grand Prix horse Elegance N at Under 25 level at the 2023 Global Dressage Festival in Wellington.

She is the 2018 U.S junior riders' champion.  Her career starting horse was Traneenggaards Akondo, which they sourced in Denmark. She also competed at the 2015 and 2017 North American Junior Riders Championships. Asher trains with U.S. team rider Katie Duerrhammer.
