Escanto PS, High Scorer of 2022 Schlieckau 50-Day Stallion Performance Test

Escanto PS, the winner of the 2022 Shortened Stallion Suitability Test in Vechta, has dominated the 50-day performance test in Schlieckau, which concluded on 24 November 2022. 

Escanto PS (by Escamillo x Furstenball x Totilas) scored the highest total of 9.12 points. Bred and owned by Paul Schockemöhle, the dark bay stallion earned 9 for character, 8.5 for walk, 9 for trot and 9.5 for canter. He further scored 9 for rideability, 8.5 in jumping and 10 under the test rider. 

No less than 29 stallions participated in this testing. 

The second best scorer was the 3-year old DSP bred Feliciano (by Floricello x Boston x Lord Sinclair). He earned a total of 8.82 points with 8.75 for character, 8 for walk, 9 for trot and canter, 9 for rideability, 9.75 from the test rider and 7.5 in jumping.  He is bred by Josef Bauer, the breeding rights belong to Maria and Walter Wadenspanner and the sport rights to Thomas and Lisa Müller.

The 3-year old Oldenburg stallion Viva Vitalis (by Vitalis x Furst Romancier x Sir Donnerhall) scored a total of 8.62 points with 8.5 for walk, 9 for trot and 9.5 for canter. He is bred by Paul Schockemöhle and owned by the Moritzburg state stud.
