Dutch young rider Fleur Prinsen has sold her number one in the barn, Fame, to a German junior rider.
Fame is a 12-year old Dutch warmblood gelding by San Amour ouyt of Rienie (by Gribaldi x Belisar). He is bred by Mr. Pouwels.
Dutch Youth Riders Horse
Originally owned by Edwin Bos before selling to the Prinsen family, Fame became the junior riders horse for Dutch pony rider Fleur Prinsen.
Prinsen had competed Next Black Magic internationally and team bronze at the 2018 European Pony Championships in Bishop Burton. As she reached the age limit in 2019 her pony moved on to Jill Kempes (and is now with British Sofia Games), while Prinsen made her junior debut on Fame.
In 2021 they moved up to young riders' level and rode in just one international, the CDI Exloo in May, where the results were not as hoped for. They returned onto the international stage 10 months later at the CDI Lier in February 2022 and posted scores between 67.843% in the team test and 72.408% in the Kur. At the 2022 Dutch Young Riders Championships they were 10th in the team test, but did not ride the next round.
Sold to Germany
The last two years Prinsen has also been developing the young horse Messy D (by Dream Boy x Johnson x Zeoliet), a 5-year old the family bought as a foal for 8,000 euro at the 2017 Prinsjesdag auction.
CDN Oldenburg
"I am very happy that we have found such a nice place for Fame where it gets top and he gets all the opportunities from a sporting point of view
together with Angelina," Fleur told Eurodressage. "Although it is also very difficult that he has left our stable. But I am convinced that they will also be very happy with Fame there."
Kehr has been competing the 16-year old Oldenburg gelding Royal Pleasure (by Rubin Cortes x Weltmeyer), the 13-year old Hanoverian Luke Skywalker (by Lauries Crusador xx x Compliment) and the 10-year old Hanoverian Duvalier S (by Dannebrog x Lauries Crusador xx) at M level this year and recently moved both horses up to S-level this summer and autumn.
