Licensed Stallion
Ghandi is Dutch warmblood by Bojengel out of Beaudea (by Tuschinski x Rousseau). He is bred by Mari de Groot and was owned by Adri van Erp and Jan Smelt.
The horse was originally named Gojengel G and got licensed at the 2014 KWPN Stallion Licensing.
Kirsten Brouwer
The bay was developed to Grand Prix level by Kirsten Brouwer.
The pair competed on the 2015-2016 KWPN Stallion competition circuit to finish sixth, they were second in the 6-year old division at the 2017 Pavo Cup Finals, and Ghandi showed again on the 2017-2018 WPN Stallion competition circuit, but did not ride the finals.
In 2018 the pair tried to make the cut for the Dutch team for the 2018 World Young Horse Championships, but Ghandi was not selected.
Brouwer competed the horse up to small tour level at national shows in The Netherland. At home he was schooling the Grand Prix movements.
Sold to the U.S.A.
Ghandi will continue his sport career under U.S. paralympian Kate Shoemaker.
Shoemaker has been seriously expanding her horse collection this year. She added Quiana and young stallion Supreme to her collection.
