Dutch Team Selected for the 2022 World Para Dressage Championships

The Dutch equestrian federation has announced the team that will represent The Netherlands at the 2022 World Para Dressage Championships in Herning.

The World Para Championships coincide with the World Championships for dressage, show jumping and vaulting and take place on 6 - 14 August 2022.

The Dutch para team includes:

  • Demi Haerkens - Daula (KWPN,  2008 by Gribaldi) - Grade IV
  • Frank Hosmar  - Alphaville  (KWPN, 2005 by Sandreo) - Grade V
  • Lotte Krijnsen - Rosenstolz (OLD, 2006 by Rotspon) - Grade III
  • Sanne Voets - Demantur RS2 N.O.P. (KWPN, 2008 by Vivaldi) - Grade IV

Grade V rider Britney de Jong is a reserve on Caramba (by Tuschinski ) as the direct reserve for Demi Haerkens, Sanne Voets en Frank Hosmar

Gade III rider Maud de Reu on Webron  (by .Sir Sinclair) is the direct reserve for Lotte Krijnsen.

The team will be captained by team trainer Joyce van Rooijen-Heuitink. "Our goal is a team medal and direct qualification for the Paralympic Games in Paris," said Joyce. "I also hope to return home with a few individual medals with this strong team."
