After last year’s successful international premiere of one of the two most beautiful summer events in Germany, the team around Matthias Rath is in full motion with the organization of this year’s events. The location, the Gestüt Schafhof, is known for its magnificent garden and the huge history in dressage sport. Compared with the expertise of creating unforgettable experiences at the event itself, those two shows have become of global importance for dressage equestrians.
Which dressage lover does not get a smile on their face when looking at what the schedule has to offer? For the most talented young riders, the Schafhofs Jugendfestival will be of even more importance this year. Knowing the Schafhof will be hosting the European Championships for Children and Juniors in 2023, this year will be the picture-perfect opportunity to get to know the event and the location. However, the Schafhofs Dressurfestival is just as important to the “seniors”. Not only will it be the last CDI4* before the World Championships in Herning, but it also makes the rider’s and audience’s hearts beat faster since it hosts two of the most valuable young horse series qualifiers – the NÜRNBERGER BURG-POKAL and the Louisdor-Prize. Finally, there will be a CDI* tour included into this year’s programme. What else could you wish for?
