UPDATE (12 Apr 2022 - 12h05): the stallion has been found. A witness reported him to the police found in a stable in the Zeven area.

-----------------

A newly licensed 3-year old Hanoverian colt by Bon Coeur – Londonderry – Brentano II is suspected stolen from his stable in Buxteheide on the night of 8-9 April 2022.

Züchterforum first reported on this possible theft.

The police from Stade came to the scene to record what happened. The stable owners heard noises in the barn and when they went to check, four stalls were opened, three horses loose and one missing, the licensed premium stallion.

The stallion was apparently led to the street, loaded on a trailer and taken. The estimated value of the colt, according to the owner, is 100,000 euro.

The police is calling for witnesses to come forward. They can reach the police office at +49 4161-647115.

This colt was newly licensed and named premium at the 2022 ZfDP Stallion Licensing in Luhmühlen. Interestingly, his owner and breeder's name was absent from the results' sheet
