Blue Hors Zwobber to Continue Under Danish Pony Rider Theresa Rosenkilde

Anders Sjøbeck Hoeck said goodbye to his junior rider horse, Blue Hors Zwobber, which has been sold to Danish pony rider Theresa Rosenkilde.

Blue Hors Zwobber is an 11-year old Danish warmblood gelding by Zack out of Lihmskovs Nelly (by Romanov x Temple Wind xx x Claudie Damsgaard). He is bred by Blue Hors.

Blue Hors Talent

Hoeck received the ride on Zwobber 3.5 years ago as first member to be scouted by Blue Hors stud for their talent program. Blue Hors recognized potential in the young man and gave him Zwobber to ride.

The combination mainly thrived at national level between 2019 and 2021. At the Danish Junior Riders Championships they got silver in 2019 and gold in 2020. In 2021 they clinched bronze at the Danish Young Riders Championships

They rode three internationals in those three years, making their debut at junior level at the 2019 CDI Nieuw en St. Joosland, where they clinched three top five placing. They were selected on the Danish team for the 2019 Nordic Baltic Championships in Vilhelmsborg, where they won team gold and kur silver. Their next international was 2.5 years later at the CDI Randbol in November 2021 at small tour level in the absence of youth classes. They were second in the Prix St Georges and 11th in the Intermediaire I.

Theresa Rosenkilde

Zwobber has now been sold to Danish pony rider Theresa Rosenkilde.

The 15-year old is in her last year on ponies. In 2021 she competed at national level the former Danish team pony Vegelin's Goya (by Verona' Bo-Gi x Leuns Veld's Darling Boy) as well as Steendiek's Dubai (by Steendiek's Dodge City). She will prepare for her transition to horses on Zwobber.

The 18-year old Anders, whose parents Dorthe and Hans Hoeck run stallion station and brood farm Hesselhøj, has a plethora of horses to ride at home and has his hands full with riding.

"Zwobber has done everything for me," Anders took to Instagram. "Zwobber has meant a lot to me and we have learned and experienced a lot together."
