Catherine Henriquet's Carinho des Noes Passed Away

Carinho des Noes, Catherine Henriquet's international Grand Prix horse from the 2000s, has passed away on 10 September 2021. He was 31 years old. 

Carinho des Noes was a Lusitano by Xa MDP out of Timosa CIP (by Mistral x Estribilho). He was bred by Michel Levieuge, the former president of the French Lusitano association. 

Grand Prix Career

Dressprod reported that the dark bay moved to the stables of Michel and Catherine Henriquet as a 12-year old. Under Catherine Henriquet, he made his national show debut in 2003 and placed 9th in the Grand Prix Special at the 2003 French Dressage Championships

 Their international show debut was in 2004, with starts in Saumur, Pompadour, Lisbon, Barzago, Lipica and Mechelen.  They were also fourth at the 2004 French Grand Prix Championships. 

They last competed internationally in 2006 with starts in Saumur and Vierzon.

Breeding Stallion 

Carinho des Noes was a licensed breeding stallion and sired Grand Prix horses Roberto des Frettes (Charlotte Haid-Bondergaard), Diabeau du Coussoul (Catherine Henriquet) and medium tour horse Soberano du Parc (Jeremy Roy).
