Zoolaboo (by Zack x Lorentin x Carthago)

Zoolaboo, the one and only dressage bred horse in the collection of riding horses auctioned at the 2021 Holsteiner Stallion Licensing, became the price highlight.

The auction at the 2021 Holsteiner Stallion Licensing included 39 horses, but three dropped out. Just one was sired by a dressage stallion, all others were fully jumper bred.

The 4-year old dark bay Zoolaboo (by Zack x Lorentin I x Carthago), bred by Peter Blohm, sold for 165,000 euro to Austrian U25 rider Nicola Ahorner.

Zoolaboo, who is named after the children clothes' brand, was owned by Dressurstall von Holdt.

An American buyer acquired the grey mare Carolina (by Canvaro x Carolino) for 79,500 euro, while the 5-year old Ida von der Söhr (by Vigo d'Arsouilles x Chambertin) will move to Switzerland for 62,000 euro.

The average price for a horse in this auction was 36,742 euro.
