Fifty-One Colts Selected for 2021 Oldenburg Stallion Licensing

The Oldenburg breed society has selected 51 colts that are now allowed to compete in the 2021 Oldenburg Stallion Licensing, which will take place in Vechta, Germany, on 18 - 20 November 2021.

The pre-selection days took place on 8, 9 and 11 October 2021 at the Oldenburg headquarters in Vechta.

Around 170 young colts, aged 2.5, were measured, presented in hand on hard surface as well as in the arena, and seen moving in freedom.

The best represented sire for the Oldenburg licensing this year is Secret (by Sezuan x St. Moritz) with four offspring selected. Escamillo (by Escolar x Rohdiamant) has three offspring in the licensing, while several sires have two offspring qualified. Eleven colts are bred outside Germany
