The first International Ludwigsburg Dressage Festival will take place from 23 to 26 September on the grounds of Schloss Monrepos in Ludwigsburg and has attracted a top- class line-up for its premiere.

The dedicated team of the Reit- und Fahrverein Ludwigsburg, together with Horses and Dreams Entertainment GmbH, are excited to present the first edition of the event, after last year’s cancellation due to the pandemic. A competition arena with the high-quality High Score Performance Ground riding surface has already been specially built in front of the castle in order to provide the best conditions for the four-legged stars.

Star Studded Line-Up

Among others, Dorothee Schneider (Framersheim), team gold medallist of the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020 and the Dressage European Championship 2021 in Hagen a.T.W., has confirmed her entry. She has nominated Lord Fittipaldi M, First Romance 2 and Salvina 4 for the CDI1* and CDI4* tours.

But the young generation is also looking forward to Ludwigsburg: U25 European Team Champions Ann-Kathrin Lindner (Ilsfeld) and Raphael Netz (Aubenhausen) will both be travelling with several horses and will be competing in both the "big" and the U25 Tour. Raphael Netz is currently in outstanding form, the 22-year-old also claimed the individual gold and silver medals at the 2021 Dressage European Championship U25 at Hof Kasselmann.

Other prominent names on the provisional master list are Patrik Kittel, Sweden's most successful dressage rider, who can look back on three Olympic Games and five World Championships, and his wife, Lyndal Oatley, who has already represented her native Australia at two Summer Olympic Games. They are bringing their future stars Touchdown and Eros.

Big Programme

Other sporting highlights include a qualification for the NÜRNBERGER BURG-POKAL, the finals of the NÜRNBERGER BURG-POKAL for the Baden-Württemberg Juniors and the Pony Masters Baden Württemberg as well as a DSP foal auction.

Visitors can also look forward to a small but exquisite lifestyle and equestrian exhibition in front of the grandiose backdrop of the historic Seeschloss.

Admission is free on all days, the 3G rule applies.
