Dr. Carsten Munk

After the sad passing of Eckhard Wemhöner on 19 March 2021, the German Judges Association (DRV) sought a new chair to head the organsation.

Wemhöner headed the German Judges Association as chair for 20 years and leaves a great void.

St. Georg reported that at the General Assembly of the DRV in April, the members voted for a new chair. Dr. Carsten Munk has been appointed and judge Reinhard Richenhagen is vice-chair.

Other board members are Joachim Geilfus (treasurer), Simone Bothe (secretary). Five-star dressage judges Henning Lehrmann and Ulrike Nivelle are closely involved for dressage.

The DRV is the official body for German judges and officials in all equestrian disciplines.
