The Westfalian licensed stallion Rubinio NRW and the Hanoverian licensed stallion Finnigan have been sold to Jennifer Arnoldt of Dreamscape Farm in Canada.

Rubinio NRW

Rubinio NRW is an 18-year old Westfalian stallion by Rubin Royal out of Farina (by Florestan x Gluckspilz x Caletto I). He is bred by Jürgen Bunge.

He was first licensed for the Oldenburg society in 2006 and approved for Westfalen in 2012 after he had proven himself in sport.

He was first competed by Henrike Sommer. In 2008 he moved into training with German based American Jennifer Hoffmann and represented the U.S.A. at the 2008 World Young Horse Championships in Verden. In 2009 he was briefly competed by Henrike Sommer and Carola Koppelmann before Hoffmann secured the ride for the rest of the horse's career.

In 2011 they made the transition to small tour level and had their CDI debut in 2012 in Stadl Paura. They moved up to Grand Prix level in 2014. They represented america at the CDIO Odense in 2016. Their last international was the 2018 CDIO Aachen after which the stallion struggled with niggling injuries. Rubinio and Hoffmann moved back to the USA in the autumn of 2018.

The stallion has now been retired from sport and sold to Arnoldt, for whom he'll stand at stud at Dreamscape Farm in British Columbia.

"My amazing Ruby has given me so much," said Hoffmann. "He was the most majestic and impressive stallion I have ever owned. He made things possible for me I could have only ever dreamed of."

Finnigan

Finnigan is an 8-year old Hanoverian stallion by Floriscount out of Donna Rubina (by Don Schufro x Rubinstein). He is bred by Cordula Mohr.

Finnigan
The chestnut was licensed at the 2015 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing and did his 14-day suitability test in Neustadt/Dosse in April 2016 and scored 8.35 points, the high score in the group. In 2017 he did the sport test in Verden scoring 8.23 for dressage, a year later he did the second mandatory sport test in Munich and earned 8.44 points. He won the 2019 Weltmeyer prize based on his test results.

Finnigan was owned and stood at stud at the Celle state stud but totally disappeared in the mass of horses they have at stud.

The lovely chestnut never competed and therefore gained little fame amongst breeders. So far he sired 1 licensed son (Finnigan's Skyfall AB) and 2 state premium daughters.

"Finnigan is in quarantine in Oregon arrives the end of the month," said Jen Arnoldt, who added that there are no serious show plans for this stallion. "He had an injury a couple years ago, but it fully recovered. We will probably ride him here a bit, but his focus is as a breeding stallion. For dressage we are not heavy into competing them. I love breeding for it."

Arnoldt's daughter is into show jumping.
