Petra Wilm's Gestut Tasdorf has been sold to German eventing rider Christian Vogg and his wife Sophie.
The equestrian centre at Gestut Tasdorf in Tasdorf, Germany, was built in the 1960s and underwent a major renovation in 1997. The facility has a stallion, broodmare and youngstock stable, as well as an insemination centre.
It has been the home of Petra Wilm (née Nagel), who ran a Trakehner and Holsteiner breeding center there.
Petra represented Germany at the European Young Riders Championships in the 1970s with Happy Girl. In the 1990s she was successful internationally with Sacramento (by Servus x Dulder) and in the early 2000s she was briefly a member of the German B-squad with Attention (by Alcatraz x Landgraf). Petra's last international Grand Prix horse was the licensed Trakehner stallion King Arthur, whom she stopped competing at CDI's in 2011. Petra's daughter Carolin Wilm was an international young rider. She last showed at a CDI in 2018 with stallion Elfado, who passed in 2019.
Gestüt Tasdorf has been the training base for riders and coaches such as Ernst Hoyos, Maik Kohlschmidt, and Polish Katarzyna Milczarek.
Gestut Tasdorf was declared bankrupt. In September 2020 the property sold in an executorial sale for 5.2 million euro to Christian and Sophie Vogg.
