Three new riders have been allocated to the FEI dressage ponies owned by Stefanie Krause-Rothenberger.

German team pony Cyrill NK, as well as FEI ponies Clooney and Diamond Blue, will return to competition sport with a new rider on board.

Team Pony Cyrill NK

The most famous pony of the threesome is Cyrill, a 14-year old German Riding Pony stallion by Champion de Luxe x Power Boy. He is bred by Anja van Hoorn.

This palomino licensing champion and Bundeschampion competed at three European Pony Championships with three different riders. The owner's daughter, Nadine Krause, represented Germany at the 2015 European Pony Championships where they won double individual silver. in 2016 Inga Katharina Schuster took him to the European Pony Championships in Vilhelmsborg and got silver in the individual test, but retired in the Kur.  Jana Lang began riding him in 2017 and represented Germany at the 2017 and 2018 European Pony Championships, winning team gold and two times individual test bronze.

In 2018 the stallion was allocated to Melina Thelemann, but never went to a CDI. Instead she showed the pony at nationals shows from 2018 till July 2020.

Cyrill's new rider for 2021 will be Jona Emilie Bomberg. Based in Florstadt, Germany, she has been competing at national FEI pony level with FS Mr Magic.

Clooney and Diamond Blue

The 8-year old German Riding Pony stallion Clooney (by Cyrill x Valido), bred and owned by the Krause family, will be ridden by former German team rider Antonia Busch-Kuffner, who competed for Germany at the 2019 European Pony Championships.

Clooney was also a licensing champion and won the 2017 Bundeschampionate as a 5-year old under Nadine Krause. The pony's international show debut and only international start so far was made under Nele Löbbert at the 2018 CDI-P Hagen.

The 7-year old Rhinelander licensed stallion Diamond Blue (by FS Daddy Cool x FS Golden Moonlight), bred by Ulrich and Katja Neuhaus, has been allocated to Lynn de Angelis.

Diamond Blue was originally named " Der Kleine Herkules". Under Lea Katharina Strothmann he placed 12th at the 2018 Bundeschampionate and 4th in the consolation finals at the 2019 Bundeschampionate, after first being shown by Jessica Süss. In 2019 the pony was shown twice by junior rider and 2018 European Pony Champion Moritz Treffinger, while in 2020 Antonia Busch-Kuffner presented him at a pony show in Vechta.

Erlenhof Pony Stud

The Krause family has focused on sport pony breeding for years at their yard, Erlenhof stud in Bad Homberg.  They share the large estate with the Rothenberger family, each family having their own facility on the estate.

Other renowned sport ponies based at Erlenhof are Going East, Frederiksbergs Mozart, Danilo, Keerlke, and Equestricons Day of Diva.

"After Nadine was out of the pony sport after 4 European championships and 6 medals, the family decided that the Erlenhof ponies belonging to the family will be given to talented riders and remain the property of the family," Stefanie Krause told Eurodressage.
