Dutch Under 25 rider Mieke Naberink has sold her Under 25 Grand Prix horse Chesspoint. She will continue her career on the KWPN licensed stallion Daily Diamond and some younger horses.

Chesspoint is a 13-year old Dutch warmblood gelding by Westpoint out of Vendy (by Ferro). He is bred by W Goesten.

The Naberink family discovered him as a 2.5 year old at the 2010 KWPN Stallion Licensing pre-selection and purchased him on the spot.

Mieke's mom Ellen rode the freshly gelded horse after he was saddle broken for the first five years. Ellen trained the 176 cm tall gelding up to M-level, but lost the ride on the horse after a bet with her daughter Mieke. The petite Mieke believed she could manage to ride the horse into the Finals at a local competition, which she did. As of then Mieke and Chesspoint were a pair.

The duo made its international show debut at junior level at the 2015 CDIO-J Hagen "Future Champions" at Hof Kasselmann.  In 2016 they moved to Young Riders level and competed in that division through 2018. They started at shows in Sint-Truiden, Compiegne, Roosendaal, Darmstadt, and Leudelange.

Their last international was the 2018 CDI Leudelange, where they finished sixth in the Kur. In 2019 Mieke and Chesspoint did their first Under 25 tests at national level in The Netherlands.

Chesspoint has been sold to a student of Frenk Jespers.

Naberink will continue at FEI level aboard the KWPN licensed stallion Daily Diamond. He was previously trained by Annabel Rootveld, Bart Veeze, Demy Kurstjens, Dana van Lierop, and Kirsten Brouwer.  Naberink is also moving up the KWPN mare Isalita Roos (by Cupido x Flemmingh) to small tour level.
