On 25 January 2020 there will be the possibility to secure top quality riding horses for the first time in the year 2020 at the Verden Auction.

A total of 77 dressage and jumping aspirants as well as leisure partners will then be available to choose from in Verden for customers from all over the world.

Highlights of the dressage collection

With the head number 1, one of five Finest offspring of this collection enters the auction ring as the first auction horse in the new year: The black gelding Freetown by Finest x Quaterback, born in 2016, is exhibited by Klaus Michaelis from Basdahl (breeder: Günter Bleis, Beverstedt) and impressed the selection committee with type and above-average basic gaits.

Another son of Finest, the dark brown Fürst Waldeck by Finest x Londonderry (breeder: Karl Wilhelm Michel, Edertal), comes with the head number 7. Under Philipp Hess he already placed in a riding horse test at the age of three at a national show in Bettenrode.

The black gelding Livorno by Livaldon x Davignon I (breeder: Axel Windeler, Verden-Walle) is out of Dornröschen, who is the dam of advanced level successful dressage horses, for example Daimler by Don Davidoff with the French Jessica Michel. She is also granddam to Benetton Dream FRH by Brentano II x Rotspon, who became Bundeschampion of the three-year-old dressage horses in 2007 with Anna-Sophie Fiebelkorn and was later Grand Prix successful with the Swedish Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfven.

Salind CQ
Reine Freude by Ravallo x Frühlingstraum II is the granddam of the head numbers 8 Vincent by Veneno x Sandro Hit and 50 Finn Luis by Fürst Fohlenhof x Quaterback (breeder: Tobias Schult, Hünxe). She is no less than the dam of the Grand Prix successful stallion Fidertanz of the Böckmann stallion station, as well as of the Rhineland stallion San Ravallo by San Amour, who was sold at the Verden Auction in 2013 and arrived in the advanced class in 2019 with his rider Nicole Wego.

The head number 20, Salind CQ by Scolari x Markus Deak xx (breeder: Christopher Quast, Hamburg) also has a well-known and no less successful relative: Her dam, St.Pr. Mia Cara, is also the dam of Don Darius by Don Frederico, a stallion formerly stationed at the Celle State Stud and now successful at highest level under the saddle of Nina Neuer.

Highlights of the jumping collection

In particular, the collection of show jumpers in January offers young Hanoverian hopefuls who are already successful at competitions: For example, head number 3, Darunee by Diacontinus x Comte, has already won and placed in competitions up to 1,20 meters. This premium candidate from the breeding of Ingo König, Großenwörden, who was shown by Dagmar Scharffetter, Bremen, won eight ribbons in the 2019 show season with nine competition starts.

Duranee
The 2014 born gelding Diary of Dreams by Diarado x Clinton II with the head number 9 has already won a medium level show jumping test for young horses up to 1,30 meters (breeder: Christa Pape-Preuß, Northeim).

Head number 12 Paul de Luxe by Periguex x Sandro (breeder: Kurt-Heinrich Böttcher, Warmsen) is not only a successful competition horse himself but also the seventh Verden Auction horse from his dam Sympathica. These half siblings have meanwhile achieved victories and placings in the medium and heavy classes and thus make Paul de Luxe's sporting future appear extremely hopeful.
