Chilean Team Selected for 2019 Pan American Games

The Chilean Equestrian Federation has named a team of four that will represent Chile at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru on 28 - 30 July 2019.

The team will be headed by captain Max Piraino and trainer Juan Jose Huertas.

The Chilean dressage team is composed of Virginia Yarur, who trains with Yvonne Losos de Muniz and competes in the U.S.A., and three combinations on Chilean bred Iberian horses, all from the Escuela de Arte Ecuestre in Chile and owned by Felipe Ibáñez.

Chile will be represented by

  • Carlos Fernandez with Destinado LXVII, a 15-year old Chilean bred by Presumido XXXVII x Bucanero VI
  • Mauricio Gonzalez with Heroe XXV, a 12-year old Chilean bred by Sine Luis x Gastador XV
  • Barbara Weber with Jardinero CXI, a 10-year old Chilean bred by Nostalgico XX x Avispao
  • Virginia Yarur with E Rava, a 10-year old KWPN by Don Jovi x Romancier
