Veronika Steinhof and Herzdame HK win the 2019 CDN Cloppenburg BuCha qualifier for 6-year olds

The 5-year old Birmingham and the 6-year old Herzdame HK became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the Weser Ems regional dressage Championships in Cloppenburg, Germany, on 19 June 2019. 

A big group of 19 combinations contested the 5-year old division in which Janina Tietze and the Celle state stud stallion Birmingham (by Bretton Woods x Furst Piccolo) became the winners with 8.1. The Westfalian stallion earned 8 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 7.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Lukas Fischer and Maria Crone-Münzebrock's Westfalian gelding Scalino (by Sir Heinrich x Ehrentusch) tied in second place on 8.0 with Thomas Schulze on Conny Lingens' Hanoverian mare Finesse (by Fahrenheit x Belissimo M). Scalino got 8.5 for walk and trot, 8 for canter, 6.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Finesse received straight 8s for walk, trot, canter, submission and general impression.

Six combinations battled it out in the 6-year old division and Veronika Steinhof won the M-level class on Heike Kind's Oldenburg mare Herzdame HK (by Hotline x Argentinus) with 8.3. the mare earned 8 for walk and canter and 8.5 for trot, submission and general impression. Janina Tietze steered Celle's Westfalian stallion Da Costa (by Dimaggio x Coriander) to a second place with 7.7. The stallion got 8 for walk and trot, 7.5 for canter, 7 for submission and 8 for general impression.
