The 5-year old Daybreak M and the 6-year old Fidelio Royal became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional show in Ansbach on 25 May 2019.
Ten combinations appeared at the starting line for 5-year olds. Walter Wadenspanner presented Sara Marburg's German Sport Horse bred stallion Daybreak M (by Desperados x Diamond Hit) and topped the board with 8.1. The black stallion got 8.5 for walk and trot, 8 for canter, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression. Alexandra Sessler and Claudia Seegert's Oldenburg gelding Dante's Crack (by Dante Weltino x Kansas C) were second with 7.8. The black gelding got 7 for walk, 7.5 for trot, 8 for canter, 8.5 for submission and 8 for general impression.
Nine pairs competed in the M-level dressage horse test for 6-year olds and professional Matthias Bouten steered Meggle's Baden Wurttemberger bred stallion Fidelio Royal (by For Romance x Rubin Royal) to victory with 8.3.. The dark bay stallion got 8 for walk, 9 for trot and canter, 7 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Two combinations tied in second place with 8.0: Rolf Eberhardt and Landgestut Marbach's Mecklenburger bred Durello (by Destano x Sancisco) got 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 8 for canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression, while Melanie Mayer and Martina Lehr's Wurttemberger bred Damiani (by Damon Hill x Florestan) scored 9 for walk, 8 for trot and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
