The 8-year old Hanoverian stallion Descolari has been sold to German junior rider Luca Sophia Collin.

Descolari is by Desperados x Weltmeyer x Legat and bred by Manfred Zimmermann. He was owned by the Brandenburg State stud in partnership with Gestut Sprehe.

The black was licensed in Neustadt/Dosse in November 2012 and did his 30-day suitability test a year later at his home base, scoring 7.46 for dressage and 7.53 for show jumping (overall 7.67). In 2014 he did the 70-day performance test in Neustadt/Dosse and got 7.70 for dressage and 7.38 for jumping (overall 7.68).

Lena Feistkorn began competing him in 2014 until June 2015. The horse disappeared from the show scene for almost two years to return in May 2017 under Isabell Werth's assistant trainer Lisa Wernitznig. Werth took on the development of stallion having built up a special partnership with the state stud in Neustadt/Dosse, since she began working with Belantis.

Wernitznig presented the horse between May 2017 and July 2018. However, to secure a coveted place in the 2018 Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals for developing PSG horses, Werth climbed onboard and won the Donaueschingen qualifier with 74.488%.

This autumn the stallion sold to German junior Luca Sophia Collin, who has presented him in their first local show in Ratingen on 3 November. They were fourth in a dressage rider M-level test.

The Essen based Luca Sophia Collin has previously competed her father Horst Collin's Doolittle (by Dancing Dynamite x Francisco) at L- and M-level in 2018 and Countess Amely von Buchholtz' Lola (by Sir Donnerhall x Weltmeyer) at E-level in 2017.
