The KWPN society and Dutch Equestrian Federation have made their pick in horses which will represent The Netherlands at the 2018 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo, The Netherlands, on 2 - 5 August 2018.
Following four observation and training trials, selectors Bert Rutten, Rien van der Schaft and Monique Peutz made their final choice at the last trial in Ermelo on 28 June 2018.
The Dutch horses for Ermelo 2018 are:
5-year olds
- Bart Veeze - Imposantos (by Wynton) and Imagine (by Dream Boy)
- Emmelie Scholtens - Indian Rock (by Apache)
- Joyce Lenaerts - Iconic B (by Bon Bravour)
- Juliane Bronkhurst - Ibiza (by Desperado)
- Renate van Vliet - In Style (by Eye Catcher)
The first reserve is Spanish Laura Reija on Imagine (by Chippendale), the second reserve is Femke de Laat on Intro K (by Apache), the third reserve is Jos Hogendoorn on Icerole DVB (by Desperados), and the fourth reserve is Moroccan Yessin Rahmouni on Impress Taonga (by Vitalis).
6-year olds
- Diederik van Silfhout - Habana Libre A (by Zizi Top)
- Adelinde Cornelissen - Henkie (by Alexandro P)
- Mara de Vries - Habibi DVB (by Don Schufro)

The first reserve is Adelinde Cornelissen on Hummer (by Charmeur), the second reserve is Dinja van Liere on Haute Couture (by Connaisseur), the third reserve is Esmee Janssen on Hummer (by Andretti), and the fourth reserve is Las op ’t Hoog on Handretti (by Andretti).
7-year olds
