French Grand Prix rider Alexandre Ayache sustained a head injury in a riding accident last week, when a young horse reared and fell on top of him.
The 35-year old Ayache, who is married to Estonian Grand Prix rider Grete Puvi and based in Nice, France, was transported to hospital where he stayed overnight.
Alexandre sustained a concussion, a fractured nose and cheek.
"He still has migraines, but should be back riding soon, from next week," Puvi told Eurodressage, adding that "luckily he wore a helmet."
