Trakehner Breeding News
The Trakehner breed society has announced the 3 and 4-year old riding horses which have qualified to represent the breed at the 2016 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, Germany.
Trakehner breeding director Lars Gehrmann announced the combinations following the 2016 Trakehner Young Horse Championships which took place in Hanover on 22 - 24 July 2016.
The Trakehner riding horses are:
3-year old stallions
- Helium (by Millennium x Induc) - Rider: Lena Günnel (as Helium is bred in Denmark he will not be eligible to start in Warendorf)
- Reserve: Statement (by Oliver Twist – Exclusiv) - Stephanie Leuenberger
3-year old mares and geldings
- Reserve: Torino (by Hibiskus – Monteverdi) - Lydia Camp
4-year old stallions
- Ivanhoe (by Millennium – Hohenstein) - Sascha Böhnke
- Sir Sansibar (by Millennium – Cadeau) - Nicole Wego
- Vapiano (by Kentucky – Easy Game) - Laura Strobel
4-year old mares and geldings
- Mille Grazie (by Easy Game – Ravel) - Helen Langehanenberg
- Arosa (by Kentucky – Gribaldi) - Friederike Schulz-Wallner
- Fleur (by Kentucky – Grafenstolz) - Friederike Schulz-Wallner
- Kiriakos (by Elfado – Ivernel) - Hannes Lütt
