In the lead-up to the 2016 CDIO-PJYR Hagen Future Championships competition, Hof Kasselmann hosted a national Bundeschampionate qualification class on Monday 6 June 2016. The 5-year olds Daytona Platinum and Hot Hit became the winners of the L-level dressage horse test, which was contested by 32 combinations.
Fischer and Kerstin Klieber's Oldenburg stallion Daytona Platinum (by Dante Weltino x Charon x Argentinus) aced the first group with an 8.6 total score. The dark bay stallion got 8.5 for walk, 9 for trot and canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Paul Schockemohle's stallion rider Anja Engelbart became the runner-up aboard Paul and Lone Boegh Henriksen's Rhinelander licensed stallion Dragon Hill (by Damon Hill x Sandro Hit). The black stallion scored 8.1 in total and got 8 for walk, 8.5 for trot and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression.
Three horses tied in third place in group 1 with an 8.0 score. Ann-Christin Wienkamp and Christine Muller-Kersten's Oldenburg stallion Don Clemente (by Don Schufro x Quattro B) received 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression. Frederic Wandres and Hof Kasselmann's Furstenfee (by Furstenball x Donnerhall) got 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot, and 8 for canter, submission and general impression. Hermann Burger and Heinrich Ramsbrock's Westfalian stallion Top Secret (by Totilas x Lord Sinclair) scored 7.5 for walk, 8 for trot, 8.5 for canter and 8 for submission and general impression.
The second group was won by Eva Möller on Hof Kasselmann's Oldenburg stallion Hot Hit (by Hotline x Diamond Hit). The duo earned a total of 8.3. The grey stallion got 8.5 for walk, 9 for trot, 8 for canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Russian Polina Afanasieva landed second place aboard Nikolaj Aristov's Hanoverian stallion Querido (by Quaterback x De Niro) with 8.1. The pair got 8.5 for walk, 9 for trot, 7.5 for canter and submission and 8 for general impression. Two horses tied in third place wiht 8.0: Alexa Westendarp's Hanoverian mare Four Seasons (by Furstenball x Fidertanz) got 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot and 8 for canter, submission and general impression. Steffen Frahm and Elena Knyaginicheva's Oldenburg stallion Budhi (by Bordeaux x Likoto xx) earned 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot and 8s for canter, submission and general impression.
