Libertad Wins First 2016 Stallion Performance Testing in Schlieckau

The 4-year old black Hanoverian stallion Libertad became the winner of the first 50-day Stallion Performance Testing held exclusively dressage horses in Schlieckau, Germany.

For the first time the show jumping horses were sent to Adelheidsdorf, while only dressage horses were tested in Schlieckau. Twenty-one dressage bred stallions participated and three of them did not achieve the minimum criterium of 7.8 (Dondante, Bulgari Dream, Steiner von Strelitzer Hof).

Libertad (by Londontime x San Remo x Wolkentanz I x Lavauzelle AA x Westwind) stood out with a high score of 9.03. Bred by Mona Diekmeier and stationed at Ingo Pape's in Hemmoor, the black stallion scores 10s for character, canter and rideability. His walk earned him 8.0 and the trot 8.5.

The second place went to the Bavarian Bailando (by Boston x Rivero II) with a total of 8.35 points. He scored 10 for willingness to perform and got 9.5 from the guest judge rider as well as for his behaviour.

The Hanoverian Summertime Blues (by Spörcken x Margue H) tied with Bailando on a total of 8.35. He got 9.25 from the guest judge rider and 9s for behaviour, temperament, and rideability
