The interntional youth riders competition Future Champions CDIO-PJYR at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen, Germany, kicked off on Monday 15 June 2015 with a national class for 5-year old dressage horses which served as qualifier for the 2015 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, Germany in September. Lord Schufro OLD and Filius Bonacci were the two group winners of the day.
With 29 horses competing the class was split into two groups. The high scorer of the day was the winner of group 1, Gestut Lewitz' Oldenburg stallion Lord Schufro (by L'Espor x Sandro Hit) ridden by Spanish Borja Carrascosa Martiner. The duo scored a total of 8.5 with a 9 for trot and canter, 8 for walk, 7.5 for submission and 9 for general impression. Annika Korte and the Oldenburg stallion Furst Larino (by Furst Romancier x Don Larino) finished second with 8.2. They got 8.5 for trot, 7 for walk, 9 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
In group 2 Tanja Sauerwald topped the leader board with an 8.3 score. Her Westfalian stallion Filius Bonacci H (by Filius Bedo x Rubinstein) scored 7.5 for trot, 8.5 for walk, 9 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Three horses finished in second place with an 8.1 score: Jutta Oelrich-Verlage and the Oldenburg mare Quadriga (by Quaterback x Danone I), Frederic Wandres on the Hanoverian mare Friedegund (by Floriscount x Fabriano) and Johannes Westendarp on the Oldenburg mare Fame W OLD (by Furstenball x Lauries Crusador xx) . Quadriga got 8.5 for trot, 8 for walk and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Friedegund earned 8 for trot, 8.5 for walk and canter, 7 for submission and 8.5 for general impression, while Fame W OLD got 9 for trot, 8 for walk, 7.5 for canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression.
