Eight horses have been added to the Dutch long list for the 2015 World Young Horse Championships following a wild card day at the KWPN head quartrs in Ermelo, The Netherlands, on Monday 4 May 2015. Four 5-year olds and five 6-year olds were presented to the selection committee to obtain a wild card.
The three horses that were accepted on the wild card day are the 5-year old KWPN bred and Westfalian licensed All at Once (by Ampere x Gribaldi), ridden by Vai Bruntink, and the 6-year olds El Torro B (by Painted Black x Jazz under Danielle Heijkoop) and Eastpoint (by Westpoint x Negro) under Lynne Maas.
The wild card day on 4 May was also an opportunity for horses to present themselves after missing out on the first trial on 23 April for various reasons. Five more horses were accepted to the long list: The 5-year olds Fakyra (by Oscar x Darlington), Barosso (by Bordeaux x Saros xx), and Ferdinand (by Vivaldi x Havidoff) and the 6-year olds Expression (by Vivaldi x Vincent) and Everdale (by Lord Leatherdale x Negro).
