Sjenna H Kicks off 2015 Verden Auction Year as Top Seller of Winter Aution

The 2015 auction year kicked off at the Hanoverian auction centre in Verden, Germany, on Saturday 24 January 2015. The Rhinelander bred Sjenna H (by Sandro Hit x De Niro) became the top seller.

Bred by Edeltraud Hähn, Sjenna H sold for 55,000 euro to The Netherlands.

The 4-year old black Strellson (by San Amour x Weltmeyer) sold for 23,500 euro to Bavaria. Dutch clients also bought the 4-year old liver chestnut Svetlana (by Swarovski x Rotspon) for 23,000 euro.

The best selling show jumper was Linus (by Levistano x Derwisch) which sold to Turkey for 37,000 euro. The jumper For Ever (by For Edition) sold for 33,000 euro to a German client.

A collection of 69 riding horses were offered for sale at the 2015 Verden Winter Auction and they achieved an average price of 15,029 euro.  The strong dollar affected the sale as no less than six horses sold to the United States. Turkish clients bought eight horses, four will move to Italy and three to Belgium.
