Sara Marburg's horse shopping spree continues. After acquiring no less than five horses at Andreas Helgstrand's yard in Denmark, she has now also purchased the Nurnberger Burgpokal qualifier winning Holly.
Sara Marburg, who made her fortune selling her successful internet hosting company, bought renowned horses Polka Hit, Stevie Wonder, Floricello, Didando and Zardetto at Helgstrand's yard in January 2014. The year before, she had bough the S-level winner Furstengold from Gaby Matthes-Winkler and international Grand Prix horse Le Mont d'Or from Anja Plonzke.
Supporting riders Andrea Vodermair and Yeliz Marburg, Sara has now also acquired Bianca Baum's 9-year old Hanoverian mare Holly (by Her Highness x Walt Disney I). The mare made a big impression when she won the Nurnberger Burgpokal Qualifier in Mannheim one month ago with a score of 71,268 %. The Baum family discovered the mare as a 3-year old.
Holly will be the new ride for Yeliz Marburg, who trains with Anja Plönzke.
