Woodlander Freddie M, a half brother to double world young horse champion Woodlander Farouche, became the top selling horse at the 2013 Brightwells Auction at Addington Manor in Great Britain on 7 December 2013.
The 2,5-year old stallion (by For Compliment x Dimaggio) sold for 30,000£ to BJ Matthews, who will be keeping the horse with the breeder and previous owner Lynne Crowden.
The second most expensive dressage horse was the 2,5 year old Oldenburg stallion First Class (by Furstenball x Weltmeyer x Royal Dance), which switched owners for 20,000£.
Fuego Fabregas, a 4-year old Westfalian bred gelding by Furst Romancier x Ehrentusch x Lauries Crusador xx, sold for 19,000 £.
Two horses achieved a knock down price of 17,000£: the 3-year old dark bay mare Fuerteventura (by Fabregas x Just Perfect x Rubinstein) and the 3-year old black mare Raffiness (by Rascalino x Stedinger x De Niro).
