The executorial sale of the renowned Rhinelander licensed Grand Prix stallion Belissimo M has been cancelled. The stallion was supposed to be auctioned on 2 November due to insolvency of owner Zucht- und Sportpferde Schmidt.

The 14-year old Belissimo M (by Beltain x Romadour II) was scheduled to be auctioned at Hof Gossmeier in Marl and the lowest bid had to start at 60,000 euro. Beate Gossmeier, however, announced today on Facebook that the stallion has been removed from the yard and the auction will not take place.

Bank "Sparkasse Beckhum-Wadersloh" confirmed to St.Georg that the executorial auction has been cancelled. Belissimo M has been moved "neutral grounds" and is currently stabled at the Landgestut Warendorf in Munster-Handorf.
