The 5-year old bay gelding Faustus (by Falsterbo x Forrest xx) has become the best selling horse at the 2013 Hanoverian Summer Auction in Verden on 19 - 20 July 2013.
Bred by Heino Bruns and owned by Andreas Bruns, Faustus was sold for 36,000 euro to Westfalian customers.
The 3-year old bay mare Sommerliebe (by Scolari x His Highness) sold for 32,000 euro to Finland, while the 3-year old gelding Beckham (by Bonifatius x Hochadel) sold for 31,000 to Bavaria.
The best selling show jumper was the 4-year old gelding Paul O (by Perigueux x Pluspunkt). He sold for 26,000 euro to the U.S.A.
U.S clients were shopping heavily in Verden, acquiring no less than 14 horses out of a collection of 94. The average price for a Hanoverian sport horse at this auction was 11,872 euro.
