
The 15-year old Clarissa Stickland-Rufin became the grand champion of the 2013 French FEI Dressage Pony Championships held at the gigantic national pony championships encompassing all pony disciplines in Lamotte-Beuvron on 5 - 7 June 2013. The FEI Dressage Pony Championships run over the Team and Individual test though the latter test counts for a double coefficient.
Based in Gex, France, Stickland and the 10-year old Diana (by Don't Worry x Dream Velvet) were second in the team test with 69.69% and won the Individual with 71.06% to finish in the gold medal position with a total score of 70.63%.
The silver medal went to Capucine Molliex on the bay German Riding pony gelding Desperado (by Don't Worry x Domingo). She totalled 69.18% after finishing third in the team test with 69.74% and third in the individual with 68.90%.
Camille Boireau and the German Riding Pony mare Hesselteich's Desert Rose (by HET Golden Dream x Lukas) landed a bronze medal with a score total of 68.83%. She earned a 66.41% in the team test and 70.04% in the individual test.
On Monday the top French FEI riders contested the "Trophee des As" in the kur to music. This class did not count for the French Championships, but the trophy is prestigious to win. Charlotte Charrier and the French bred Mad du Bosc (by Nabor x Laeken) won the trophy with 71.90%, whereas Clarissa Stickland finished second with 71.50%.
