
The 3-year old stallion Sandokan (by Stallone Quainton x Lavall I) became the best selling horse at the 2012 South German Riding Horse Auction held in Marbach on 11 November 2012.
Bred by Ulrich Vité, Sandokan was presented at the under-saddle licensing but not accepted. Nevertheless the chunky bay stallion sold for 45,000 euro to Jörg Schrödter.
Two horses sold for 30,000 euro, the second highest knock down price of the day. This amount was paid for the 7-year old mare Dottoressa (by Dr. Jackson D) and for 4-year old mare Fantasie R (by Florianus).
Ulrich Vité's 4-year old stallion Sir Hit (by Samba Hit I x Don Primero) sold for 27,000 euro. The chestnut mare Emilie (by Furst Piccolo) sold for 25,000 euro.
Twenty-six horses in total were sold for an average price of 15,707 euro. Ten stallion prospects were sold for an average price of 19,200 euro.
