2012 Bundeschampionate Qualifier

The 5-year old Sylvester II and the 6-year old Don Lyberty won the Bundeschampionate qualification class held at the regional show in Grabsleben, Germany, on 15 - 17 June 2012. Only a small field of eight horses in total gathered for two BuCha qualifiers at L and M-level.

Gestut Bon Homme's in-house trainer Frederic Wandres won the 5-year old division aboard Sylvester II (by Sandro Song x Mahagoni/T). The combination scored 8.0 and was the only pair to achieve a high enough score to qualify for Warendorf. Anika Singh-Weber and the Oldenburg stallion Sir Nero (by Sir Donnerhall x Rohdiamant) finished second with 7.3.

In the 6-year old division Sebastian Kampmann and the Mecklenburger bred Don Lyberty (by Dornfelder) aced the M-level class with a 7.8 score. The second ranked pair Jacqueline Strumpfel and the German Sporthorse branded Moulin Rouge (by Renier) received 6.4 from the judges.
