Helen Langehanenberg and the 5-year old Damon's Delorange were the winners of the only Bundeschampionate qualification class held at the major regional dressage competition in Iserlohn, Germany on 25 - 27 May 2012. Aboard Christian Beck's liver chestnut mare (by Damon Hill x Rubin Royal), Langehanenberg scored a whopping 9.2 and was a league of her own.
The second placed pair, Insa Hansen on DJ Paul van Dyk's dark bay Oldenburg gelding Horares (by Hotline x Donnerhall), finished second with 8.3.
Five horses in total scored 8.0 or higher and qualified for Warendorf. The number three of the ranking was Anke Simon on the Westfalian stallion Rocky Lee (by Rock Forever x Justinian xx). She earned 8.2 from judges Harry Lorenz, Ulrike Lautemann, and Hubert Hesker-Lengermann.
Two combinations tied on fourth place with 8.0: Erik Butjer on Hof Kasselmann's Oldenburg gelding Sarotti (by Sir Donnerhall I x Cagliostro x) and Kira Wulferding on Jochen Happ's Donna Diana (by Dimaggio x Oldtimer xx).
Dutch World Champion Edward Gal made a surprise appearance in Iserlohn, Germany, competing the 5-year old Oldenburg branded Jack Sparrow (by Johnson x Wolkentanz II) in the Dressage Horses A-level class. The combination finished 7th with a 6.9 score.
