German Senior Grand Prix Teams for 2012 Announced

The German Equestrian Federation has announced the combinations which have been submitted to the German senior teams for the 2012 show season. The dressage selection committee of the German Olympic Equestrian Committee (DOKR) decided upon the combinations and listed seven riders in the A-team.

The top elite A-team is the Championship Team, from which riders will be picked to constitute the eventual team and individual rider for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Of course combinations that have a smashing 2012 show season can move up in the teams based on their results.

Championship A-team:

  • Anabel Balkenhol - Dablino and Rubins Royal
  • Helen Langehanenberg- Damon Hill NRW and Responsible OLD
  • Matthias Alexander Rath - Totilas
  • Ulla Salzgeber - Herzruf’s Erbe
  • Kristina Sprehe - Desperados
  • Monica Theodorescu - Whisper
  • Isabell Werth - Warum nicht FRH, El Santo NRW and Don Johnson

B-Team:

  • Sabine Becker - Lamarc WRT
  • Nadine Capellmann - Elvis VA and Girasol
  • Uta Gräf - Le Noir
  • Fabienne Lütkemeier - D’Agostino
  • Anja Plönzke - Le Mont d’Or
  • Hubertus Schmidt - Valentino G
  • Dorothee Schneider - Kaiserkult TSF
  • Brigitte Wittig - Biagiotti W and Blind Date
  • Wolfram Wittig - Bertoli W

B2-Team:
