Matthias Rath and Totilas' appearance at the 2011 CDI-W Frankfurt mid December 2011 might be in jeopardy. The black Dutch warmblood stallion sustained a minor injury during a training session last Wednesday.

St. Georg reported that Totilas sprained his foreleg during training. The vet immediately checked the leg and there is no serious injury nor a strained suspensory.

"We have to be careful for a few days and only walk him," said trainer Klaus Martin Rath. Matthias hopes everthing will be fine soon so he can compete in Frankfurt. The event is heavily supported by his step mom Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff. "I'm closely connected to the show and have been looking forward to go back into the show ring for weeks," said Matthias.

Rath and Totilas are suposed to travel to the 2012 World Dressage Masters in Palm Beach at the end of January. Afterwards the black stallion will move back to Paul Schockemöhle's station in Muhlen, Germany, where he will be standing at stud during the breeding season.
