2011 VWF Dressage Cup

Vienna Romp and the chestnut KWPN gelding Darshan (by Vivaldi x Welt Hit II) were the winners of the 2011 VWF Dressage Cup held at Stable Prinsenstad in Delft, The Netherlands, on Saturday 22 October 2011. Judged by Frank Jespers and Jose van Haaren, 90 combinations showed up for the 3-year old dressage suitability competition. The top 6 after round one was test-ridden by Jose van Haaren.

Vienna Romp, who discovered Darshan as a 2-year old, won both rounds with the gelding, scoring 126 in the first round and 40 points from guest judge rider Van Haaren to total 166 points and take the victory.

Charles van Belle and Tim Coomans' Dutch warmblood mare Dolly (by Ziesto x Osmium) became the reserve champion. The mare, which was reserve champion at the 2011 KWPN Mare Championships, excelled with her rhythm and scored 123 points and 38 points to finish second on 161 points.

Under Sharon van Loeffen the chunky black stallion Dundee M (by Lord Leatherdale x Sandro Hit) stood out with his self carriage and scored 122 and 36 points to slot in third (total: 158 pts).

Emmelie Scholtens and the KWPN bred by Oldenburg licensed stallion Dancer (by Vivaldi x Tango) were fourth with 153 points.
