The Belgian Equestrian Federation (KBRSF) has renewed the contract of dressage team trainer Volker Moritz until the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

In February 2011 the KBRSF hired the former German O-judge as team coach for a period of six months.

After the 2011 European Championships an evaluation took place with the coach, riders and federation. Several riders were consulted before the board of directors took the decision to renew the contract for one more year.

Moritz will be giving individual training sessions on a monthly basis to those riders who are in the running for a berth at the Olympic Games. Besides that he will be coaching the Belgian riders at one of two competitions per month.
