2011 Pan American Games
The Puerto Rican equestrian federation has announced its team that will represent Puerto Rico at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico. Dressage at the Pan American Games will be held from October 16 – 19, 2011 at the Guadalajara Country Club.
Team Puerto Rico includes:
- Luis Reteguiz-Denizard - Nalando, a 1995 born KWPN gelding by Caritas x Apollonius xx
- Natalia Martin - Utha van de Begijnhoeve, a 1997 born Belgian warmblood mare by Marne de Darmen x Saigon
- Ursula Lange van Lewis - Toftegardens Lobbi, a 1998 born Danish warmblood by Lobster
- Francheska Liauw - GB Marko, a 1996 born Danish warmblood gelding by Michellino x Faighter
The Puerto Rican equestrian federation, however, can not fund the 12,000$ shipping transports of the horses to the Games and the riders are responsible for paying their own way.
