Devina and Daktari won the Bundeschampionate qualification classes at the Baden Wurttemberger Regional Dressage Championships in Tubingen, Germany, on 1 - 3 July 2011.Though hundreds of horses gathered for the regionals, only fifteen competed in the BuCha qualifiers for 5 and 6-year olds.
In the 5-year old devision Ralf Kornprobst and the chestnut Baden Wurttemberger bred mare Devina (by Dacaprio x Akzent II) scored a winning 8.4. She got 8s for walk and canter, 8.5 for submission and general impression and 9 for trot. Sabina Schrödter and the Baden Wurttemberger gelding Kir Royal (by Kopenick x Rotspon) were second with 8.3. They got 8 for walk and submission and 8.5 for trot, canter and general impression.
There was only a small group of 6-year olds in Tubingen and one of them qualified for the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf. Stephanie Carras and the Baden Wurttemberger branded stallion Daktari (by Donautanz x Carpaccio) scored solid 8s for his gaits, submission and general impression. Katrin Burger and the Oldenburg branded Special Dance (by Sandro Hit x Grundstein II) were second with 7.8. The dark bay gelding is bred by Belgians Peter van Rompaey and Nicole Vercalsteren at breeding farm Het Klaverhof and the horse was originally named San Grio van het Klaverhof.
