Austria Sends Two Horses to 2011 World Young Horse Championships

2011 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses

The Austrian Equestrian Federation has selected two horses to represent Austria at the 2011 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, Germany, on 3 - 7 August 2011. The Austrian selection criterium entailed a score of 8.0 or higher at a selection trial. Only two horses managed to qualify.

The Austrian horses are:

  • 5-year old: Sandra Knopf aboard the Oldenburg gelding Delauney (by Dr. Doolittle x Feinbrand)
    Owner: Sandra Knopf - Breeder: Ulrich Brinkhus
  • 6-year old: Ulrike Prunthaler on the Austrian warmblood stallion Duccio (by Dimaggio x Coriograf B)
    Owner: Edda & Wenzel Schmidt - Breeder: Herbert Stanek
