They are named after songs such as 'Nur geträumt', 'Sternenhimmel', 'Knutschfleck' and 'Fred vom Jupiter': the new Classical Sales Warendorf collection has been revealed. Videos and photos of the 22 highly-talented dressage horses, who will be up for auction on the evening of April 7, can now be viewed online at www.csw-auction.com.
True to the good vibes of the 'Neue Deutsche Welle' theme, all of the CSW horses have taken their name from a wave of music which is still highly popular today. Stallions like the licensing winners Fidertanz, Londonderry and Dormello and foundation sires like Weltmeyer, Ehrentusch, Sandro Hit and Sir Donnerhall are all on their pedigrees. The collection ranges from the carefully broken-in three-year-old Fidertanz x Rohdiamant offspring 'Ich will Spaß' through to young horse classes winners like the 2006 Donnerhall daughter 'Lust am Leben' and the four-year-old 'Spliff' by Sandro Hit x Donnerhall, and it also includes more mature five, six and seven-year-old talents from Jazz Rubin, the Bundeschampion Lord Loxley, Riccio and many more.
The Classical Sales Warendorf auction will be held for the third time in 2011. Initiated by Susanne Miesner and Fabian Scholz, the concept has already reaped rewards: Freak Blue Phantom by Florencio was one of the most impressive and talked-about horses at the Bundeschampionat for five-year-old dressage horses in 2010. Fritz San Tino won the bronze medal at the Westphalian Championships for Young Riders in 2010 with Carolin Fehlings, while Fatheema qualified for the LVM Youngster Championships with Ann-Christin Wienkamp. "We are proud of the success of our former CSW horses, while at the same time this gives us more motivation to offer our customers another amazing collection in 2011," stressed training manager Susanne Miesner. CSW rider Jessica Süss has already been successful with a horse from the current collection: with the Florestan x Diamond Hit mare Katherine, she has won a youngster competition in Laer with the outstanding score of 8,5.
The official presentation of the auction horses takes place on March 20 at 11am at the Wietelshof, in Warendorf. The auction itself will begin on Thursday, April 7, at 7pm. ClipMyHorse will broadcast it via internet.
