2010 World Equestrian Games
The Spanish Equestrian Federation announced the team that will represent Spain at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Lexington, KY, USA, on 27 September - 1 October 2010.
After a final observation event at the CDI Cappeln, chef d'equipe Bobby Fernandez de Bobadila appointed the following riders on the team:
- Juan Manuel Muñoz - Fuego XII
- Claudio Castilla - Jade de MV
- Rafael Ortíz - G-nidium
- José Antonio García Mena - Norte
- Reserve: José María Sánchez Cobos - Fogonero
The Spanish team is entirely represented by Iberian bred horses (Andalusian and Lusitano). Jordi Domingo's Dutch warmblood gelding Prestige (by Ferro) was not fit on time for team selection.
