Hans Peter Minderhoud's small tour horse Ridderkerk has been sold to Dutch junior rider Denise Nekeman. The  12-year old Dutch warmblood (by Kennedy x Glendale) has been in training with Minderhoud since December 2009.

The bay gelding was initially competed internationally at small tour level by Joyce Lenaerts but Hans Peter took over the ride eight months ago. The pair became bronze medallist at the 2010 Dutch Small Tour Championships and won the Prix St Georges at the CDIO Rotterdam.

Ridderkerk will now be junior rider Denise Nekeman's new horse. Denise trains with Nicole Werner at Minderhoud and Gal's stable in Harskamp, The Netherlands. The Nekeman family also owns Edward Gal's second Grand Prix horse Interfloor Next One.

"There's no rush to go out and compete," said Nicole Werner. "The two of them have a very good click together and this combination has a nice future in store."
