2010 World Equestrian Games
The Portuguese Equestrian Federation has announced the team that will represent Portugal at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Lexington, KY, on 27 September - 1 October 2010.
The Portuguese team includes:
- Mafalda Galiza Mendes - D'Artagnan, a Westfalian gelding by Delphi x Julio Mariner xx
- Gonçalo Carvalho - Rubi, a Lusitano stallion by Batial x Xaquiro
- Maria Moura Caetano - Util, a Lusitano stallion by Maestro x Zaque
- Daniel Pinto - Galopin de la Font, a Lusitano stallion by Espanto x Zorro
The reserve combination is Nuno Palma e Santos on Sal.
Kyra Kyrklund is the team trainer, Carlos Lopes the chef d'equipe, and Dr. Bruno Miranda is the team veterinarian.
